PSIP - Patient Safety through Intelligent Procedures in medication

The material is a collection of available information which represents PSIP’s foundation. This information consists of reports of Adverse Drug Events (ADE) and an immense repository of data concerning medical records and natural language medical documents. Furthermore this starting point is enriched by data and semantic mining techniques, pharmaceutical knowledge bases, knowledge on ADE’s, work process and healthcare organizations. All of this is tied together within PSIP by a series of existing ICT solutions, such as: hospital/clinical information systems, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Computerised Provider Order Entry (CPOE).
