- Participants: Oracle, Acure, AUTH, CHU Lille, Medasys, Region H, Vidal
- Objectives: Define the connectivity principles among the IT components that will be developed in WP7 in order to enable integration of these IT components in the pilot study sites.
- Work Process: Initially, specifications will be defined for both connectivity and integration related issues, followed by an appropriate on-site preparation procedure. In this context, state-of-the-art integration methodologies and approaches will be explored. The integration will comprehend 2 phases: a “fake” integration phase, to ensure the realisation and validity of the schemas defined and a “real” integration phase, in which WP 5 will participate, where the actual Cx-CDSS pilot module will be established. The integration of these modules in the existing IT systems of the pilot study sites will be based on a user-centred design process, so that the Cx-CDSS modules will be well integrated in the users work processes.
- Expected Results: o Connectivity and integration specifications o Integration of the first set of Cx-CDSS modules in IT applications and in hospitals o Recommendations for the integration of CDSS modules in Computerised Provider Order Entry.(CPOE).
